Andy Hughes is an independent engineer trading as Dams and Reservoirs Ltd. He has more than 35 years’ experience in dam engineering with a particular interest in reservoir safety and all aspects of earthfill dams, risk assessment and hydro power. He lectures extensively around the world and runs a number of training courses. He has particular concerns relating to knowledge transfer and succession planning.
