Dr. Donald Bruce was educated in Scotland and has degrees in Geology and Geotechnical Engineering. He worked for specialty geotechnical construction contractors throughout the world before starting his own consultancy, Geosystems, in 1996. Dr. Bruce works mainly as an Expert Witness, or member of consulting boards, in N. America and in 4 other continents. He has published over 320 papers and 3 textbooks, the most recent being “Specialty Construction Techniques for Dam and Levee Remediation,” He is the recipient of the Kapp, Baker and Terzaghi Awards from ASCE.
